Schools out for summer...!

 Wow so much has happened since my last post. The school year finished up very nicely. It was hard to believe it was the end of my third year in the classroom. Things were a bit hectic finishing up because on top of trying to keep my kids busy until the very end, I was packing my classroom because.... I'm moving to KINDER! I'm really excited! I got everything moved into my new room and pretty much just piled it on the back counter and in the cabinets in time to get everything squared away to turn my keys in. I'll get it all organized and set up in August. Even though I'm not working I'm still busy busy with a lot of fun things!

Two projects- This weekend I painted the $7 Goodwill kitchen that I bought when I found out I was moving to kinder. The next picture is my recovered dining chairs. I love how they turned out!

At the end of school we found out that our sweet speech teacher would be having a Zumbatomic class at her Zumba studio in the summer. She did an AR party for some kids who worked so hard and these two had so much fun that I decided to sign them up for the summer class. Last Wednesday was the first class and we all had so much fun. I wish all 16 of my kids could come!

And I can't post without an update on this crazy girl! As I type this she is growling at her reflection in the sliding glass door. She has always been a mama's girl but me being home from work has been her dream come true. She follows me all day long. She got a little ice cream after a trip to the vet last week. Love that sweet girl!

It's been fun catching up and I hope I can stay up to date and link up with some of the things I'm using to get ready for kindergarten and some of the fun that's going on this summer.
